23andMe is a privately held personal genomics and biotechnology company based in Mountain View, California, whose mission is to "help people access, understand and benefit from the human genome." As of August 2020 it states that it ships product to more than 50 countries, has more than 12 million customers, and has collected three billion phenotypic data points (individual survey responses). The company is named for the 23 pairs of chromosomes in a human cell

FamilyTreeDNA is a division of Gene by Gene, a commercial genetic testing company based in Houston, Texas. FamilyTreeDNA (FTDNA) offers analysis of autosomal DNA, Y-DNA, and mitochondrial DNA to individuals for genealogical purposes.

Living DNA is a DNA testing company which offers an ancestry and wellbeing test. The ancestry test provides a biogeographical ancestry analysis with Y-DNA and mtDNA haplogroup reports combined with autosomal DNA relative matching. A wellbeing test offers reports on nutrition and fitness.

MyHeritage is an online genealogy platform with web, mobile, and software products and services. Users of the platform can create family trees, upload and browse through photos, and search billions of global historical records, among other features. As of 2022, the service supports 42 languages and has around 106 million users worldwide. In December 2022 it was reported that MyHeritage has 90 million family trees on its website. The company is headquartered in Or Yehuda, Israel with additional offices in Tel Aviv, Lehi, Utah, and Burbank, California.
