Over the years, Ms. Simmons has collected cemetery information from all over Anne Arundel County, and from this data she has assembled a book on the locations of these cemeteries. Every attempt has been made to include every known cemetery site in the county, except Indian burial grounds which have been excluded for their protection.  Burial ground sites that no longer exist are also included; the original site of the burial ground is given and the site where the graves have been reinterred, if known, is also given.  All known names of these cemeteries, traditional as well as area names, are given.  Directions to the locations of these burial grounds is comprehensive and correspond to the local Anne Arundel County ADC map book.  An added attraction is the inclusion of where the published tombstone inscriptions can be found.
