- Our quarterly newsletter,
Anne Arundel Speaks, is tailored to help
the genealogist whose diverse
ancestry leads to research in many areas of the globe. Featured
are news from the Internet, queries, and current happenings in the
local genealogical community. Columns such as Beginner's Luck
and Library Gems have been added. The
Speaks continues to
be an informative newsletter since its beginning in 1974.

Anne Arundel Readings, published twice
yearly provides material from a wide variety of Anne Arundel
sources and covers the period from the establishment of the County
to early Twentieth Century. This 50 page plus, journal contains
Civil war records, Bible records, family genealogies and
genealogical information from county newspapers. Readings
continues to publish material important to the Anne Arundel County
researcher. Back issues are available for purchase.

Membership in the Anne
Arundel Genealogical Society is open to anyone with an interest in genealogy. You do
not need to have roots in Anne Arundel County to join.
The Society currently has over 400 members from
around the country. Membership categories include:
- Individual - $19 /year
- Family - $25 /year
- Life Membership (individual) - $200
