Membership Information
Membership in the
Anne Arundel Genealogical Society
is open to anyone with an interest in genealogy. You do not
need to have roots in Anne Arundel County, Maryland to join.
The Society currently has many members from a number of states
throughout the country.

our
quarterly newsletter
covers a range of topics of interest to beginning,
intermediate, and expert genealogists alike. Each issue
contains a feature article and news about our Society and
its activities. Also featured are tips on genealogy
resources on the Internet, book reviews, and current
happenings in the local and national genealogical community.

has been an informative newsletter since 1974. Here are
publication guidelines
for submission of material.

Anne Arundel Readings,
published twice yearly,
provides material from a wide variety of Anne Arundel
sources and covers the period from the establishment of
the County to early Twentieth Century. This 50 page plus
journal contains Civil War records, Bible records, family
genealogies and genealogical information from county
newspapers.
Readings
continues to publish material important to the Anne Arundel
County researcher. Back issues are available for purchase.
